Dugdale Plc has appointed Claymore Plastics nationwide distributor for small lots of its high quality PVC compounds.

From its base in Hereford, Claymore will offer the full range of Dugdale PVC compounds including rigid and flexible moulding, extrusion and blow moulding grades. Key features of the distributorship are rapid response and nationwide delivery of any quantity of compound from 25kgs up to 5 tonnes.

Claymore has been supplying ‘B’ grade PVC compounds to the UK moulding and extrusion sectors for over 30 years. Originally set up by Mike Slater, who spent 13 years working with ICI PVC, the company has prospered by offering a personal and highly responsive service supported by technical back-up founded on extensive experience. The company specialises in servicing SME processors and offers call-off orders and materials storage facilities. Together with Mike, Claymore today is run by son Sean Slater, who said: “Our aim is to introduce greater stability and predictability of sales to the business by offering prime materials. Adding the established range of Dugdale compounds to our product portfolio is our first step in this direction.”
