Debby Durkin has been appointed Health & Safety Manager of Dugdale Plc, the rigid and flexible PVC compounds manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.

Previously the role was part time but continued growth in demand for the company’s products, especially its high performance PVC compounds and alloys, coupled with ever increasing regulatory and legislative requirements has created the need for a full time manager.

In this newly created position Debby will be responsible for the continued development and implementation of the Dugdale’s health, safety and environmental policies at its 0.78 hectare site at Sowerby Bridge. She will also be involved in COSHH, risk assessment and compliance with REACH regulations throughout the company’s extensive manufacturing plant that houses silo’s, high speed mixers, compounding extruders, technical laboratory, material development and quality departments as well as storage facilities.

Debby has over 20 years experience in manufacturing and distribution and has health and safety qualifications from IOSH and NEBOSH as well as a Certificate in Training Practice from Hull University.
